Музыка: Opeth and Tool are my two favorite bands. I actually went to Sweden to see Opeth live in concert for their 20th Anniversary Tour, which was how this whole World Tour I'm doing started, and Opeth (particularly Mikael Åkerfeldt) is the reason why I studied Swedish. Tool are easily one of the best and most perfect bands in the history of the universe, and Danny Carey is my favorite drummer in the world), Jimi Hendrix (the reason why I am a musician today), Faith No More (their "The Real Thing" album was my introduction to western music, believe it or not), Sigur Rós (seen these guys live 4 times), Pink Floyd, Flogging Molly, Arcturus, ...and Oceans, Tenhi, Tinariwen, Sepultura, Soulfly (Max Cavalera is one of my favorite musicians ever), Alice in Chains, Eluveitie, Ensiferum, green carnation, Porcupine Tree, Ministry, Meshuggah, Dark Tranquillity, Apocalyptica, Vintersorg, Huun Huur Tu, Yat-Kha, Tyva Kyzy, Ismo Alanko, Shiina Ringo, Sigh, Devin Townsend, The Offspring, Tantric, Ustad Zakir Hussain (my percussion hero!), Mechanical Poet, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Do Make Say Think, Radiohead, Loreena McKennitt, The Tea Party, Korpiklaani, Garmarna, Hedningarna, Värttinä, Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Anathema, Yoko Kanno & the Seatbelts, Mass
Фильмы: I've only very recently in my life developed any care or concern whatsoever for movies, thanks in major part (almost exclusively, really) to Steve Willner. Check him out; he's essentially the sole individual influence upon me appreciating movies today. Today, they include: V for Vendetta, Sound of Noise (I'm convinced that this movie was made specifically for me), Wanted, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Powder, Mozart and the Whale, Stay, Six String Samurai (I'm fairly convinced that this move was also made specifically for me), Zero Effect, Dogma, The Matrix, Mongol, Latcho Drom, Baraka, Gattaca, K-Pax, Pink Floyd's "The Wall", Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (Johnny Depp is an absolute master), Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer, Ratatouille, Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter (the greatest movie ever made!), Army of Darkness, the Cowboy Bebop movie, Boondock Saints, The Truman Show, Malcolm X, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Equilibrium, all the Monty Python movies, Metal - A Headbanger's Journey, Global Metal, Genghis Blues, The Yes Men, Addicted to Plastic, Exit Through the Gift Shop, quite a few others

О себе: In the words of the coolest thing anybody has ever called me (specifically by my friend Joanna in Toruń, Poland), I'm a "musical extremist" (with music being my religion). Cthulhu is my lord and saviour and Godzilla is his prophet; King Kong is the adversary and arch-nemesis. I was born in Vancouver, Canada, and grew up in Los Angeles, and later lived 7 years of my adult life back in Canada. I've been on the perpetual move now since late-2009. I'm a musician, a mystic, a traveller, a wisdom-seeker, an esoteric student-teacher, a born-again Anarchist of inner spirit, an ambassador of Divinity and consulate general of Infinity, and an infinite lover from Los Angeles, California, currently on a World of Noise tour and working on what I call the International Storytelling Orchestra, connecting with other musicians to play live concerts wherever I go, interacting with people of all backgroungs and paths in life, expanding my life experiences, and learning whatever I can from/with whomever/whatever/wherever I can. I live for percussion, vibration, and cymatics. I want everyone in the world to meet each other. Most of the music I play revolves around numerical patterns, beat cycles, (mostly) indian music, and other various styles. I studied composition for a number of years, and right now, I'm getting into orchestration and South Asian music studies, mostly Vedic (based on the Vedas) principles. My main instruments are tabla, drumset, and 6-string bass, and, to a lesser extent, piano, and many other various forms of percussion. As a profession, I do freelance audio engineering (not DJing, that's a different area; I do in-studio music recording and live audio), and so my work allows me to be very internationally mobile. I love my job. When people hear that I have no religion, they automatically assume that I'm an atheist, and they when they find out I'm not an atheist, they assume I'm a christian, and then upon finding out I'm not christian, they assume I'm muslim, and then pagan, and then hindu, and then wiccan, and then jewish, and then buddhist, etc etc bla bla woof woof on down the line. This amuses me greatly. I sold my television in 2001, and at the time that I sold it, I hadn't turned it on in about 5 or 6 years or so. However, I have not yet sold my soul for Rock 'n' Roll. Not yet... I very much want my own personal theme music blasting from the Sky at my command. This would be a wonderfully excellent turn of events. And I quite strongly believe there should be squeak-toy versions available of absolutely everything. Squeak toys fucking rock my panties. I'm also seeking long-distance letter-writing postal penpals in these respective countries (yes, you read correctly, postal as in using-a-pen-that-has-ink-in-it use-paper-that-was-made-up-from-pressed-together-tree/hemp/papyrus/whatever put-a-stamp-on-the-outside send-it-through-the-postal-service letter-writing correspondence), so if you can speak any of these languages, and you're interested in keeping in letter-writing contact, then do definitely make sure to get in touch with me!
